Memorial Day at Colonial Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg offers on day tickets free of charge to active duty military on either Veterans Day of Memorial Day. The dates available for Memorial Day  are Saturday, May 20, through Labor Day, September 4, 2023. See the Colonial Williamsburg website for more information.

On Monday, May 29 at 10 a.m. the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will honor the United States military men and women with a  Memorial Day Commemoration. This Commemoration will occur on the Palace Green.  This event will conclude with a lone bagpiper playing a tribute to those who gave their lives to our nation while serving in America’s Armed Forces.
